Overview
One of the most rewarding days you can spend in Georgia. We drive north along the Georgian Military Highway, stopping at the Ananuri fortress above the Zhinvali reservoir, at the Gudauri viewpoint overlooking the Devil's Valley, and in the ski town of Gudauri. In Stepantsminda a 4x4 takes you up to Gergeti Trinity Church, standing alone at 2,170 m against the face of Mount Kazbek. The pace is yours — we build in as much time for photos and walking as you want.
